I honestly believe musicians see the world through different eyes that other people do. They also feel things so much more passionately. This amazingly talented person personifies this belief--just visit her MySpace and listen to her music. Writing a good piece of music is more than throwing words out that rhyme and go with the music track. They blend, enhance, inspire and emit emotions deep within us we either forgot or have never tapped into. THAT is Barrie.

Although I've only known her for a short period of time, she had become a dear friend to me. Never afraid to speak her mind or make herself vulnerable, her love for her family and friends is felt even from far away. She's inspirational because of her music, her passion for life and her love for what's good in the world.
